The West Highland Way

[as interpreted by Stew]

West is the outdoor word for left.

In June 2013 we pottered left from Milngavie to Fort William. It took us five days and was mainly fine.

It is safe to say that we won’t be doing it again.

Who are these jokers?

Stew doesn't walk, Stu is basically a banker, Lee always looks like he's enjoying himself.

Only Captain Steve is actually good at outdoors.

What's next?

In Spring 2014 the boys paddled the Great Glen between Fort William and Inverness.

We’ll talk about that another time.

The route we walked, shuffled and (eventually) staggered. Shown here on a little drawing of a map.

The great outdoors is usually a bit bigger than indoors.

Weather is all around us.

It is important to know what it's going to do before it touches you.

Enough nonsense?

This silly webpage was the start of something. Back in 2015 it caught the eye of Kris Elliot.

Working with Kris, I helped Team Noble raise over £65,000 for their Talisker Atlantic Row challenge in December 2017 (fundraising for The Scottish Firefighters Charity).

Since then, I’ve worked with charities and businesses related to the outdoors.
